# Vienna district illustration

Datenquelle: Stadt Wien – data.wien.gv.at

The active map uses only the local `vienna-districts.json` asset. It contains
all 23 complete Vienna district boundaries, district names and numbers, and
representative points calculated inside each district for label placement.

WFS layer: `ogdwien:BEZIRKSGRENZEOGD`.
Request parameters: `service=WFS`, `version=1.0.0`, `request=GetFeature`,
`srsName=EPSG:4326`, `outputFormat=json`.

Processing: boundaries were rounded to five decimal places and simplified
at 0.000025 degrees for lightweight SVG illustration. Full district polygons
are retained. Other properties were removed. The active map contains no
street geometry, addresses, business observations, vacancy measurements,
population data or time-series statistics.

Colour indicates the selected example district only. Optional terracotta
dots are decorative district markers offset from the label positions. They
do not represent actual businesses, vacancies, addresses or other geographic
observations. The illustration does not encode values or periods.

No map service or tile provider is contacted by the browser at runtime.
